No air conditioning in the room seemed like a misfire considering the heat. Mosquito issues ran rampant, with inadequate deterrents-barely effective fans and a seemingly pointless mosquito net didn't cut it. The lack of a kettle or microwave cramped any plans for late-night snacks, and a dirty pool? That's just not good enough. Location is remote, requiring a bit of planning for transport. Bus routes aren't obvious and cab rides could add up over time.

That was quirky and absolutely gorgeous hotel set in beautiful area, really close to verdant valley with breathtaking views down to the ocean below as well as beautiful surroundings, especially the views of the mountain and the sea. The breakfast was included and had lots of meals.

En suite beautiful room, a private safe and a writing table were appreciated. The staff were very friendly and provided exceptional service...

Consider bringing snacks to enjoy in your room since there are no kitchen amenities.

Wow, where do I start? No aircon was a huge oversight, and I could've sworn I saw a bird's nest in my room! A dirty pool? I mean, for what I paid, I was expecting at least a decent stay instead of feeling like I was in some budget motel. Almost thought of leaving a good review, but alas, couldn't.

The staff here. The views were just fine, surrounded by lush greenery. The only downside was the remoteness. We had to plan for some transport. Still, a gem overall 🌴

Fine Views and Warm Hospitality

The amazing views overlooking the ocean and the lush green surroundings. The infinity pool provided a perfect spot to unwind, and I highly recommend the Spice Trail walk for a unique jungle experience. One thing to note is that the remoteness requires some transport planning, so be prepared for that during your stay.

Surrounded by lush vegetation and offering fine water views, the setting is enchanting. The staff's really good personal service, particularly from Carlene and Nakita. Enjoying cold buffet dishes added a good touch to our meals. The remote location required careful planning for transportation, and the absence of basic amenities like a kettle was inconvenient. While it wasn't an extravagant stay, the intimate atmosphere provided the relaxation we sought.

But goodness, I didn't know I signed up for a spring break in a sauna-who needs AC when fake breezes are blowing! I think the mosquitoes threw a rager in my room, too.

The staff provided really good service and were always available to assist us. The location was serene. Meals were freshly prepared and the cocktail selection added a fun touch to our stay. I've spoken with previous guests who also appreciated the fine views that surrounded the hotel, which enhanced our experience.

rooms are spacious and clean with comfortable beds - surrounded by beautiful rainforest views and close to the caribbean sea. enjoyed the historical tour and delicious cocktail selection. standout service from the friendly staff who make you feel like family from the moment you arrive.
